Developmental Disabilities
COMPANION SERVICES
Companion services provided by ATROYPEN GROUP consist of non-medical care, supervision and socialization activities provided to an adult on a one-on-one basis or in groups not to exceed three recipients. This service is provided in direct relation to the achievement of the recipient’s goals per the support plan.
- A companion provider may also assist the recipient with such tasks as self-care needs, meal preparation, laundry and shopping; however, these activities shall not be performed as discrete services.
- Our service does not entail hands on medical care.
- Our Providers may also perform light housekeeping tasks, incidental to the care and supervision of the recipient.
- Our service provides access to community-based activities that cannot be provided by natural or other unpaid supports, and should be defined as activities most likely to result in increased ability to access community resources without paid support.
- Companion services may be scheduled on a regular, long-term basis.
PERSONAL SUPPORT SERVICES
Personal supports services provide assistance and training to the recipient in activities of daily living, such as eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and preparation of meals.
- When specified in the support plan, this service can also include heavy household chores to make the home safer, such as washing floors, windows and walls; tacking down loose rugs and tiles; or moving heavy items or furniture.
- Services also include non-medical care, and supervision.
- Personal supports are designed to encourage community integration.
COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
ATROYPEN GROUP provides community behavioral health services, including mental health and substance use services to achieve the maximum reduction of the recipient’s mental health or substance use disorder and restoration to the best possible functional level.
Services may include the following:
- Assessments and Referrals
- Medical and psychiatric services
- Individual, group and family therapies
- Psychosocial Rehabilitative services
- Community Integration
- Substance Abuse Evaluation and Referral
